The Bardsey Crier informs the public - as Criers and Bellmen have over the centuries - of the news and of other important information and events. In this case the news will be about this island of Ynys Enlli (Bardsey Island) two miles off the end of the Lleyn Peninsula in the Irish Sea where there has been a Bird & Field Observatory for 56 years.

Good luck with your blog. Just because you may not get many comments it doesn't mean that there aren't lots of us out there reading what you have to say. Keep it up!
(Too many negatives in that last sentence, but I hope you know what I mean!)
If it helps, assume your readers (me anyway!) don't know THAT much about Bardsey, so risk telling us things some will already know.
E.g. How many people on the Island now, at the height of winter, what do they all do, do they have anything to do with each other or all plough their own furrow?
Good luck Bev
Its always good to hear news from Enlli. News from South west Wales is that our solitary Avocet has returned to join the oystercatchers at Llansteffan.
Gwyn is hoping to volunteer on the island at Easter and after his exams in June, Mel is joining Christine's writing group for a week and then were all coming out at the beginning of August. Using the parlance of Alicia this could add up to about twelve visitor weeks!
Hope to see you at the AGM/council at Criccieth next month
Blwyddyn Newydd Da / Happy New Year
